Roles:
Remote Talent Producer
Manage, monitor, and be the main point of contact for remote talent.
Primary responsibilities include:
Onboarding talent to contribution platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, vMix Call)
Review Run of Show with talent
Check camera and audio quality with the director
Instruct talent to adjust background and camera height eye level if needed
Instruct talent to plug device to power, enable Do Not Disturb, and ensure they will not be interrupted
Get the shot composition approved by the client
Instruct talent on whether they need to mute/unmute themselves or not
Ensure they are receiving the correct Return Feed
Manage and timers or slides for talent
Communicate any notes or directions from the director and client to the talent
Set up a backup comm plan with talent
Monitor feed and alert director and talent of any issues
Help talent troubleshoot if any issues occur during the show
Technical Director
Manages the main switched program feed and ensures feed transportation to encoders/destinations.
Primary responsibilities include:
Switch main feed
Adjust mortises, graphics, audio
Build vMix session (order graphics, create shortcuts & triggers, create playlists)
Ensure correct routing for A1, Graphics Op, etc
Route main feed to destination
Troubleshoot if any issues arise
Communicate issues to the lead producer
