Roles:
Interpretation Producer
Produced and directed the interpretation of the program into six different languages.
Primary responsibilities include:
Provide interpreters with updated show rundowns and scripts
Feed main program feed to interpreters
Add interpreted audio into new program feeds
Direct interpreters on upcoming segments
Make any necessary adjustments to the translated audio
Send new program mixes with the translated audio to the destinations
Encoding Engineer
Manages the stream and ensures end-to-end quality, monitors recordings, and reports status as needed.
Primary responsibilities include:
Gather streaming credentials from the client
Collect stream Title, Thumbnail, Description, and Watch Page URL from clients (if necessary)
Perform test streams to platform(s)
Ensure clean and proper transmissions of streams
Configure encoder and adjust resolution, bitrate, etc as needed
Initiate and manage streams on the platform side
Start, Stop, and Manage records
Note the start and end timecode of records
Manage stream distribution/transcoding
Push streams to GO LIVE on platforms as directed
Ensure audio and video quality, audio sync, and captions by monitoring the final stream on consumer page(s)
Communicate any issues immediately to the Producer / Director
Document (at regular intervals determined by the producer, the concurrent viewership, total viewership, health, and other key metrics
